Language & Layups was created to help build more effective young students.Our number one goal is to focus on building English language skills while learning individual and team-based basketball skills. It is extremely important to allow our students to experience other educational settings other than the typical classroom. This program allows our students to frame learning in a different way and see it as the beautiful thing that it is. There is a direct relation between learning an athletic skill and learning an educational concept. Students must listen, pay attention to detail, think about what they are seeing and hearing, give their best attempt, practice, and continue to push through failures to improve on the skill. The exact same goes for the classroom. Above all else, our goal is to make sure at the end of the day, our students are constantly improving. Every session, participating students will learn a language or a life lesson along with receiving extensive basketball training.
